Lawyer Profiles

Paola graduated from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in 2003.  During college she was an active member of the Pre-Law Society, as well as, the Political Science Group.  As a member of these organizations she frequently volunteered within the community in activities ranging from aiding underprivileged individuals to promoting political awareness within the community.  Becoming an attorney had always been a childhood dream for Paola, and this dream became reality when she was accepted into law school. 

Upon graduating from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, Paola began her law school career at Thurgood Marshall School of Law in the Fall of 2003.  During law school she was a member of the Student Bar Association, the Hispanic Law Student Association, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.  She also served as an intern to Justice Linda Yanez of the Thirteenth Court of Appeals in Corpus Christi, Texas.  Paola worked to aid individuals incapable of financing legal assistance by working at the Immigration Clinic located at the law school.  She realized during this time that being able to assist individuals with their legal needs was very important to her, and aspired to work at a firm where she would be able to accomplish this. 

Upon graduation Paola moved back to her hometown and joined a Criminal Defense firm.  Although she enjoyed this area of the law and the courtroom exposure, she relocated to Houston in 2008.  At the beginning of February 2008 Paola joined the firm of Steven M. Lee, P.C.  While working here she takes pleasure in working in the realm of Personal Injury, and also in being able to work closely with clients on a daily basis.
