DWI Fatal Wreck on Eastex Freeway

The accident occurred this morning around 2 a.m. when an allegedly drunk driver crashed into another vehicle while driving the wrong way in the 13300 block of the Eastex Freeway, deputies said. (Chron.com)

The driver was traveling southbound in a northbound lane and slammed head on into the other vehicle killing a female passenger, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.  No other injuries were reported.
