The wrong-way driver plowed into oncoming traffic around 9:20 p.m. Wednesday night in northeast Harris County hitting three cars, police said. (Chron.com)
Deputies said alcohol appears to have been involved in the wreck which occurred in the 22900 block of FM 2100 near Old Atascocita Road.
One woman was killed and three other drivers, including the suspected drunken driver, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
Deputies said a man lost control of his Chevrolet Z-71 pickup and he hit a green GMC Yukon. He then continued on, smashing into a black GMC Denaili, and finally colliding into the woman’s silver Mitsubishi Gallant.
The accident is still being investigated and no charges have been filed in the case so far.
