Bicyclist Hit and Killed by Negligent Driver in Southwest Houston

A Honda Civic Driver was accused of hitting and killing a bicyclist on the service road of 59 near the Westpark Tollway last weekend.
According to Chron.com, The Civic driver swerved across several lanes of traffic to exit on a ramp, but instead hit a curb, lost control of the car, and hit the bicyclist.
The bicyclist was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and was pronounced dead on Monday.
The driver of the car was treated for minor injuries and was then charged for the crash.
