
The accident occurred around 5:30 a.m. this morning at 8500 E. Mt. Houston Road near Nanette. (Chron.com).
According to authorities the bicyclist was riding across Mount Houston without yielding right of way to a GMC pickup that struck him. The driver stopped to assist the bicyclist.
When the driver got out to help, another truck hit the bicycle that was in the road. The second driver got out of his vehicle, removed the bike from under his truck, and left the scene.
Deputies are investigating the case.
