June 8, 2012 – Dallas, Texas – According to an accident report on Chron, a car accident that occurred on Interstate 20 killed a mother and her 3 girls and the driver of another vehicle on Wednesday, May 30.

The driver of a pickup truck was driving the wrong way on the highway when it struck and hit an SUV. Both of the drivers were killed, along with 3 children who were riding in the pickup truck. The driver of the pickup was identified as 27-year-old Krystle Carranza. The names and ages of her daughters were not released by authorities. The driver of the SUV has also not been named.

According to the Department of Public Safety, an attempt was made to stop the driver by a police officer right before the collision occurred.
