
A Houston motorcycle accident claims the life of a passenger after the bike she was riding on is forced off the road by a fleeing car. The hit-and-run accident took place at approximately 2:15 PM on Friday afternoon, April 23, 2010, on Dunbar Road.
According to the Houston County Sheriff’s Office, a 2009 Honda Interceptor motorcycle was forced off Dunbar Road by a blue Ford Taurus. According to reports, the Ford Taurus failed to stop and fled the accident scene. The Ford is believed to be a mid-to-late 90’s model.
A passenger on the motorcycle lost her life as a result of the incident. The victim has been identified as Lynn Catherine Kaiser, 32, of Savannah. It was unclear as to whether the driver of the motorcycle was injured in the wreck.
The fatal Houston motorcycle crash is still under investigation by local authorities. Investigators are still trying to locate the driver of the Ford Taurus. Anyone with information concerning the fatal afternoon wreck has been asked to contact Deputy Brandon Miller at (478) 542-2010.
