Motorcyclist injured by power line listed in fair condition

A motorcyclist critically injured in a bizarre accident on Interstate 45 July 3 was listed in fair condition Friday at Memorial Hermann Hospital in Houston’s Texas Medical Center, according to a hospital spokesman.
According to the Conroe Police Department report, Bruce Canfield, 51, of The Woodlands, was riding his Harley Davidson north on Interstate 45 near Gladstell when a Williams Brothers Construction Company dump truck in the construction area snagged an Entergy power line, dropping it across the main lanes in Canfield’s path.
