One Dies in Katy Accident

The single-car accident occurred about 2:40 a.m. this morning in the 2900 Block of Katy Hockley near Morton. (Chron.com)

One person was killed and one person was injured after the driver lost control of the vehicle and hit a tree, officials said.

The injured person was rushed to Memorial Hermann Katy Hospital. Their condition and injuries have not been released.
