Passenger Run Over in Houston Car Accident

A Houston car accident results in one person being run over after being ejected out of a vehicle during an accident. The incident took place at approximately 9:45 PM on Tuesday evening, December 1, 2009, along the Southwest Freeway in Houston.
According to a Crime Stoppers report, a Chevy Trailblazer lost control while traveling northbound on the Southwest Freeway, eventually spinning into the 9400 block of the service road of the freeway.
An unidentified passenger in the Chevy Trailblazer was thrown out of the vehicle and was then run over by an unidentified white car, according to the report. The driver of the white car then fled the accident scene, never stopping to check the condition of the victim.
Rescue workers transported the victim to a nearby hospital and was treated for serious injuries which included some broken bones. The condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
The report indicates that the make and model of the white car that ran over the victim is unknown. Police are still searching for the driver of the white car.
It is also unknown who was driving the Trailblazer and why the vehicle lost control.
The Houston car accident is still under investigation by local authorities.
