Woman Dies in Accident Involving Rig

A woman was killed after she allegedly ran a red light and smashed into a rig.  (Chron.com)

The accident occurred about 2 p.m. yesterday in the 11700 block of Beaumont Higway near John Ralston, according to police.

After the two-vehicle collision the woman was flown to Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center where she later died, police said.
