Woman Killed in Hit-and-Run Accident

The pedestrian was fatally struck about 7:45 p.m. Sunday in the 12600 block of Beltway 8 feeder road, police said. (Chron.com)

According to deputies there were no eye witnesses, and the motorist drove away without stopping.

The pedestrian was taken to Ben Taub General Hopsital where she later died.

This case is still being investigated.
