The second Houston accident occurred at approximately 3:00 AM the same morning on Riley Fuzzel. The driver of the 2006 Acura, Chad Wesley Garrett, 30, of Spring, was heading southbound when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a tree head-on.

Garrett was also pronounced dead at the scene from blunt-force injuries to the chest and abdomen sustained in the accident.
