Witnesses told police the rider tried to pass a car at a very high speed when he lost control of his motorcycle and crashed around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in the 9700 block of I-45 near W. Mount Houston (Chron.com).

The motorcyclist was later pronounced dead at Memorial Hermann Hospital.  He was wearing a helmet and driving a green Kawasaki motorcycle.

The victim was trailing behind several other motorcyclists who were weaving in and out of traffic, witnesses said.
