One man was killed and another critically injured in a Texas drunk driving accident. The alleged drunk driver faces Intoxication Manslaughter charges.

Corpus Christi Man Victim of Drunk Driving Accident

A young man remains in a coma following a Texas drunk driving accident.  Sethen Waid, of Corpus Christi, was seriously injured in a car accident involving an alleged drunk driver on S. Padre Island Drive on June 5, 2009.  The drunk driving accident resulted in the death of Cristobal Isaac, a 20-year-old Robstown resident.

Clayton Johnson, the 18-year-old alleged drunk driver, faces charges of Intoxication Manslaughter.  According to police, Johnson had a blood alcohol level of .22, which is almost 3 times the legal limit.

A fundraiser was held for Waid to raise money for his mounting medical bills.  Friends also gathered to increase the awareness about drunk driving. 

Waid is supposed to be transferred to a Houston medical facility and his friends hope to hold more fundraisers for him.
